Paste a link. That's the setup.
Share your Google Sheet as "Anyone with the link can view" and paste the URL into the plugin. No API key, no Google Cloud project, no sign-in. The link is saved in the Figma file, so your whole team is ready too.
Copywriters keep every word in Google Sheets. Designers click one button and the whole Figma file follows along. No more copy and paste.
Single-origin beans roasted every Monday, pulled by baristas who already know your order. Grab a seat, or order ahead and skip the line.
An email thread. A Figma comment. A chat message from last Tuesday. Nobody knows which version is final.
Every word lives in one Google Sheet. Everyone knows where to look.
Button should say "Order now", not "Order ahead". Thanks!
wait, which headline did legal approve??
Homepage_copy_FINAL_v2_REAL.docx
CTA = "Grab a cup"?
Changed the hours to 8pm btw
Copywriters already live in spreadsheets. With every word in one Google Sheet, they write and edit in one place, reviewers comment right next to the copy, and the version history keeps track of every change. Designers never hunt through inboxes again. They click Sync, and Figma catches up.

Design text on the left, sheet rows on the right. Drag one onto the other, or let Copy Sync suggest matches and accept them all in one click. Every connection is stored on the layer itself.
When the copy changes, hit Sync to design. Copy Sync fetches the sheet and edits every connected layer across the whole file, as a single undo step. Then it tells you exactly what happened.
Connections are saved on the layers, not on a server. Duplicate a frame, copy the file, share it with a teammate. The links travel with it.
Didn't like the new copy? A whole sync undoes in one go.
Share the sheet by link and you're done. Nothing to configure in Google Cloud.
Identical text, similar text and layers named #some.key are matched for you.
Empty cells and missing fonts are skipped and listed, so nothing gets wiped by accident.
Write one plain column of copy, or use keys for links that survive reordering rows. Copy Sync figures out which one you're using.
It needs to be shared as "Anyone with the link can view". Only people with the link can open it, and Copy Sync only reads it. Support for private company sheets with Google sign-in is being explored.
No, and that's on purpose. Copy flows one way, from the sheet into Figma, so there's never a question about which version wins.
The layer is skipped and listed in the sync summary. An empty cell means "no copy yet", so your design is never blanked by accident.
Yes. You can connect text inside component instances, and they keep working as instances. Nothing gets detached.
In your Figma file. Connections and the sheet link are saved as plugin data on the file and its layers. There is no server and nothing is stored per user.
Copy Sync is coming soon to the Figma Community.

Copy Sync is in final testing. Join the waitlist to get the plugin before anyone else, and stop copy-pasting UI text into Figma for good.
Early access goes out in small batches. The sooner you join, the sooner you sync.
Can we try "Skip the line" here?
